Duties and Responsibilities
The aim of
Registrar's Office is, starting with the registration of students to our
University during and after their academic education; recording, saving and
conducting any relevant documents in an ethical, accurate and swift manner
within the framework of applicable laws, regulations and directives. In
accordance with key principles and objectives that comply with legislation, Registrar's
Office ensures that updated information is accurately transferred to our
students .
- Registering students
placed to our University by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center),
- Additional placement, Vertical
Transfer and Horizontal Transfer registrations,
- Requesting and
transmitting documents of incoming and leaving students via Horizontal
transfer,
- Preparing and
distributing temporary graduation certificates, diplomas and diploma annexes,
- Issuing transcript, student
certificate, discharge and exit procedures of students,
- Summer school issues,
- In relation to academic
term and students, sending related data and files to YÖK, ÖSYM, KYK and
concerned establishments,
- Preparing statistical
data and reports, monitoring and corresponding with concerned
establishments as regards student grade reports, credit, scholarship and
similar affairs,
- Conducting essential
correspondence across all departments at the University,
- Accomplishing relevant
duties as assigned.
